Former President Donald TRUMP has called on the House of Representatives to expedite the passage of the GENIUS Act, a bill that would establish a federal framework for stablecoin issuance and trading. The legislation, which cleared the Senate with a 68-30 vote, is touted by Trump as a pathway to securing America's dominance in digital assets.

Critics, however, have raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest linked to the Trump family's involvement in the crypto space. The House remains divided, with some lawmakers pushing to combine the bill with other crypto-related legislation or add stricter provisions.
